We are a sustainable e-commerce startup focused on purchasing high-tech products and equipment previously used by the US government and Fortune 500 companies, with the aim of providing companies in the domestic and international capital markets the opportunity to saving hundreds of thousands of dollars in technological development by reusing this equipment.

Role Objective
We are seeking a part-time Digital Experience and Innovation Lead to spearhead innovative strategies for enhancing customer engagement and optimizing our digital presence. This role focuses on transforming customer interactions, driving sales, and elevating our brand through creative thinking and strategic vision.

The right candidate for this role will operate with a customer-first mindset, champion research-supported ideas to increase demand for our product by serving our customers in a more efficient, timely, and delightful manner.

Responsibilities
Innovation and Channel Management (35%)
● Explore and integrate new sales channels, including partnerships with other e-commerce platforms.
● Introduce cutting-edge solutions and technologies to enhance the company’s market position and visibility.
● Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in e-commerce.
● Develop and implement strategies to reduce reliance on eBay, while optimizing its current use.
● Drive innovation in customer engagement and acquisition through creative campaigns and digital content.

Research and Analysis (35%)
● Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive strategies.
● Utilize qualitative and quantitative analysis methods for customer and user research.
● Partner with operations and business stakeholders to prioritize and implement research methods aligned with strategic objectives.
● Manage the full lifecycle of research, from planning to presentation, translating findings into actionable insights.
● Recruit participants for user research studies aimed at enhancing post-click-through customer experiences that drive sales.

Customer Experience Enhancement (30%)
● Develop and refine customer journeys, improving digital interactions across channels and touchpoints.
● Optimize the website to integrate inventory, facilitating seamless product linking to eBay and enhancing user experience.
● Implement personalized techniques, such as targeted promotions and product
recommendations, to improve engagement.
● Monitor customer feedback and translate insights into UX innovations.
● Create and maintain best practices and CX guidelines, embedding them within team workflows.
● Champion customer-centered product enhancements and ensure consistency across digital platforms.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
● Proven experience in user experience, customer experience, and market analysis.
● Strong background in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and
data-driven decision-making.
● Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive customer engagement strategies.
● Experience with e-commerce platforms and inventory integration, particularly with eBay.
● Proficiency in data analysis and synthesis.
● Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Bonus Qualifications
● Advanced degree, training, or certifications in e-commerce, product management, digital design, HCI, or digital innovation.
● Experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis tools.
● Experience working with consumer research.
● Fluency in English and Spanish.
